At my internship today I was instructed to man the front desk while the office manager went out for lunch. While I sat there twiddling my thumbs and fearing that a phone would ring ( I have NO idea how to transfer a call to another extension) I noticed a stethoscope on top of a box. Why there was a stethoscope randomly lying around a theatre production office was not something I felt I needed to question. What I did need to do was play with it and play with it I did until one of my bosses caught me. I slipped them off while as we awkwardly looked at each other and talked about the rain.
